About Moto Cowgirl

"Stacy Winter, the founder of Moto Cowgirl, is a highly experienced professional in the fashion industry with a passion for riding, particularly in the Western ethos. With her expertise, she entered the powersports industry and attained success in developing apparel for high-end contemporary wear and action sports. Her incredible contributions and expertise led her to work for leading brands like First Gear, Answer Racing, Roland Sands Design and Can-Am, among others.
Despite her success in the corporate world, Stacy never forgot her deep love for riding, which she developed on her grandpa's property in Grants Pass, Oregon, where she rode her first three and four wheelers. Later on, she got her motorcycle license and joined women's riding groups.
With her extensive experience in fashion design, a passion for riding, and a keen eye for detail, Stacy ventured out to establish a brand that would cater to women interested in Western style and riding. Moto Cowgirl was born with the mission to empower women and make them feel confident while riding. The brand offers quality apparel and accessories suitable for the open road and a broad range of products, including shirts, hats, hoodies and bandanas. Her goal is to grow and be able to add jackets, gloves and pants in the future.
Stacy's journey to establish the Moto Cowgirl brand wasn't easy, yet her relentless passion and dedication kept her focused on achieving her dream. She is an inspiration to many, particularly women, that regardless of the challenges we may face in pursuing our dreams, we must push on with a positive mindset, unwavering perseverance, and a belief that everything is possible."

WHAT INSPIRES MY DESIGNS

Since I visited my aunt’s ranch as a little girl I have been in awe of the cowgirl and western lifestyle. I grew up in the suburbs of a small town surrounded by powersports. I have collected western apparel for years, both modern and vintage. You can never have too many boots, right? I pull a lot of ideas from those pieces and pay attention to what catches my eye. When designing I try to think of confidence and comfort no matter what type of adventure someone may be on. It could be on a motorcycle, dirt bike, side by side or bouncing a 4x4 through the toolies. My goal is to design a fit that can cross all those categories. I noticed the options were slim and decided to combine western styling with moto to create something new.
